Many people who haven't watched Japanese animation (anime) before may perceive them as basically cartoons. There can be many similarities to classic American Cartoons like Scooby-doo, SpongeBob, and Kim Possible to Japanese Anime. One of the most significant elements that make anime stand out from classic cartoons is the music and soundtrack quality.
As more anime is produced, more countries outside Japan have come to enjoy them. Many of the original soundtracks associated with them can sometimes rival and beat big live-action movie productions.
Here are some examples of popular anime OST's (Original Soundtracks)
Many of these OSTs can evoke many kinds of feelings when listened to. Depending on the song, different intensity patterns and release patterns may help the audience feel a certain way. Many individuals may feel more of an emotional connection when listening to these original soundtracks because, according to Theodor Adorno, they do not commonly follow similar melody patterns. Still, they invite deeper thinking and stronger engagement.
This beautiful mix of connections can strongly affect the emotional responses that individuals feel when hearing these different songs. The vast array of genres that anime has can produce a wide variety of music with sounds that convey mystery, wonder, adventure, drama, and even danger.
So, try a Japanese anime next time you want something beautiful to listen to.

Which one would you be willing to watch? (They are usually only 20 minutes per episode)
What kind of TV show or movie genre do you like the best? Adventure, Mystery, Romance?
I like Trigun it's an old western kind of anime of adventure the music helps deliver that this is an old western. I really enjoy Trigun and the theme music that goes along with it representing the old west. However, they did a reboot of trigon called Trigun stampede which goes more into the old west and the alien music it’s way different, but keeps to its old time vibe it had in the original. I also like MHA and the theme that goes along with each of the seasons of being the hero that everyone needs the hero’s story how far they are willing to go to protect everyone. I would say that I really like adventures for what I watch and the story behind them.
