Neo-Marxism as Tool of Weighted or Winged Growth

 As an analytical tool we are asked to use Neo Marxism as a lens to understand how popular culture is texted and extracted through a neo-capitalist world. Hegemony serves to help reinforce theories on the matrix of domination. Certain privileged groups of individuals are able to control these tools of mass communication and broadcasting streaming and Internet real estate.   When pop media is mediated through social media where the entire world inputs I do not believe to hold a superficial lens on the reading of hegemonic media, oppositional media, and subverted oppositional media we consume.  I believe it can all be expanded in complexly if input is given to each media type under Sellnow's theories. What media type would you believe to help change the world through hybrid consumerism and commercialization?
